novaplan 02980 consists of a mixture of organic and inorganic fibres as well as mineral fillers.

Thus this material is resistant to continuous temperatures up to 1000°C.

Due to the portion of organic fibres and binders and in consequence the temporary development of fume and odour at first temperature load, the novaplan 02980 is recommended for use at continuous temperatures up to 600°C.

Typical applications:

• gasket for exhaust systems – cladded between perforated steel
• shielding component encased in closed mouldings
